The Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors (ZIQS) is a statutory professional body established under the Zambia Institute of Quantity Surveyors Act No. 19 of 2024. It succeeds and rebrands the former Quantity Surveyors Registration Board, with a broadened mandate to regulate, promote, and advance the practice of Quantity Surveying in Zambia.
As a corporate body with perpetual succession, ZIQS has the legal authority to register quantity surveying professionals, organisations, and units, oversee the issuance of practising certificates, uphold standards, ensure compliance, and protect public interest within the built environment.
